Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before you join the table.
What skill levels do your classes cover?+
We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced workshops. Every session starts with a short skill assessment so you land in the right group.
What should I bring to my first class?+
Just yourself and comfortable clothes. All clay, tools, and aprons are provided. We recommend bringing a water bottle and an open mind.
How does the firing and glazing process work?+
Your pieces are bisque-fired, glazed during a dedicated glazing session, then high-fired. Finished work is ready for pickup two weeks after class.
Are the studios wheelchair accessible?+
Yes. Both our San Francisco and Oakland locations have step-free entry, accessible restrooms, and adjustable-height work tables.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Full refund up to 7 days before class. Cancellations within 7 days receive a studio credit valid for six months.
Can I keep the pieces I make?+
Absolutely. All finished work belongs to you. We also offer optional shipping for out-of-town students.
Do you host private group events?+
Yes. We regularly host birthdays, team-building sessions, and date nights for groups of 6–20 people.
Is there an age requirement?+
Public classes are open to ages 16+. Private family sessions for younger makers are available on request.
